Name

AI CharacterName The AI CharacterName is the designation the AI Character will uses during chat interactions, and it's what other users will see if the AI Character is made public. The name must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Length: The name must be between 3 and 20 characters long.

  • Composition: It can consist of letters, numbers, spaces, dashes (-), and underscores (_).

  • Variability: The name can take the form of a single name (e.g., "Jonny"), a full name (e.g., "David Beckham"), or a handle (e.g., "BestChiefAround").

Significance of the Name The chosen name for your AI Character can significantly influence its behavior, especially if the AI character lacks detailed information. Additionally, the notoriety of the name can play a vital role. For instance, if your AI character has a renowned name, one that the system encountered frequently during its training, the name alone can shape the character's basic behaviors. In some cases, providing a first and last name can be more effective in defining your character's behavior more effectively. For instance, "David Beckham" would yield better results than simply "David," which might be too ambiguous without additional context.

Uniqueness It's important to note that AI Character names do not have to be unique. Consequently, there may be multiple characters with the same name. To distinguish between them, a character's name, in combination with its creator's identity, ensures that you can always identify and access a specific character.
